Special Guest James Hackett will talk about the changing role of design in 21st Century media and show some of his latest work. James has over 15 years professional experience in animation, design, illustration and production. He has directed short animations for UK channel 4, award winning music videos including Somewhere Down the Barrel for The Dissociatives, and program titles for Enough Rope with Andrew Denton, JTV and David Tench Tonight. AFTRS Digital Media is launching a new range of courses for talented designers and animators keen to keep their skills relevant in rapidly changing times. Bringing together broadcast media and interactivity we take designers to new frontiers of converged media including mobile platforms, IP television and home media centres. We'll show some of our latest cutting edge work and have a look “under the bonnet” at our new courses in Motion Graphics and Emerging Media Design.
Courses start in Sydney and Melbourne in July - Applications close on 21 May
