Matte Painting / Advanced Photoshop
2 days, 10am-5pm, 30 & 31 July, 2007, $500

A comprehensive overview of matte painting techniques suitable for compositing with live action or computer-generated images. Rose Draper, course director, is a compositor and VFX artist with credits including Hunt Angels, Revealing Gallipoli, and Vietnam Nurses.

After Effects Compositing
4 days, 10am-5pm, 21, 22, 28, 29, August, 2007, $850

A detailed introduction to desktop compositing for moving images using Adobe After Effects 7 Production Bundle. Belinda Bennetts, course director, is a titles designer and visual effects art director and supervisor with credits including: Charlotte Gray, Moulin Rouge, Wildside and The Truman Show.
