Presented by the Australian Directors Guild and the Independent Producers Initiative In association with the NSW Film & Television Office
Confused by all of the information that has come out as a result of the recent Federal Budget? What is this new rebate? How does it work? What does it mean? What happens to 10BA projects? How will the new agency operate? How will it co-fund projects?
If you want to get the lowdown on the recent Budget announcements, and more importantly some sense of what all of these changes mean to you as a filmmaker, you should attend this joint ADG/IPI event. Having had a few weeks to mull over all of the detail that exists, a panel of industry experts will consider the implications of what was announced on May 8. They will go through what is known, outline where clarification is still required, and identify what business models could make it work for you.
The forum will also be seeking feedback from industry members, in order to determine the issues that require further clarification by Government and what require further lobbying at an industry level.
Panelists include:
- FFC CEO Brian Rosen
- Producer Jane Scott
- ADG Executive Director Richard Harris
- FTO Head of Production Investment Linda Tizard
Venue: Chauvel Cinema, Oxford St Paddington Date: Wednesday May 30 Time: 9.30-1pm
ADG, IPI, AWG, SPAA, MEAA and other industry guild members FREE Non-members: $40 F/T Students: $10
